Passenger air bag off button

I recently bought a 2000 pewter/light oak/black convertible and don't have any way of shutting off the passenger side airbag. I have seen some 2000's with a "passenger airbag off" button on the center console to the right of the "active handling" button (see attached pic). Was this an option in 2000, an option on newer Vette's, or an aftermarket piece? I would really like to add this to my car as I have 7 and 9 year old daughters that like to ride in the Vette.

Check inside the glove compartment--on my 2002 that's where the key insert to turn on/off the passenger airbag resides. Good hunting! Andy

The item on your console is a light that warns you the airbag is off.

Unfortunately, mine is an early 2000 model, so I don't have the keyswitch in the glovebox or the console light for the passenger air bag shutoff. Thanks for responding.
