Performance Timer/Meter

Has anybody used a performance timer/meter on their C5 ? Was it accurate compared to a dyno test/1/4 mile track run ?

Escort (the radar detector co) has a timer/meter the GT1 (Basic model) for $79 + S & H if you call in the order, $99 if ordered on the web (I don't understand the logic here) The upscale (more bells and whistles) GT2 is $119.95 called in ($179.95 on the web). Has anyone used, or seen the Escort in action.

The GT2 is $60 more expensive if you order it off the web? Man, there's a company not too interested in driving e-commerce their direction.

Sorry, Blueman, I have not tried the timer/meter, so I have no advice for you here. Just had to comment on the illogic of the website disincentive.

I received a post card in the mail from Escort with the pricing stating "direct phone orders only"......maybe its a deal for those of us that are on their mailing list as previous buyers. ????????? The number is 1-888-837-2678 Deal expires on
