first, BarryK and his grass skirts bar....

VNV had to get in his car and check out the A/C....it was really hot on Friday when we were there and we got a good jump on it on Saturday and left by 10 when it was even hotter....those that stayed the day and lasted through the weather, all I can say to you, WOW

this one had a special place in my heart when I saw it...

this was one cool lady.....this is her 1960 that she has had for 10 years. She said that she had replaced the soft top TWO times now....very nice car and a really nice lady to take the time to chat with us....

for a mere $14k this too could have been yours....

new Z06 in the burn out contest, smoked 'em until the right rear tire blew out....wow can those babies put out some smoke!

and finally this '57 tried to do a burnout and all it really did was look like a bucking bronco....jumping up and down in the rear end....never did really much of anything.....

Saw the "grass roots bar" and thought it was a hoot. Today when I passed by, it was gone..............destroyed by the storm. Such a shame. But hope that everyone is ok.

I doon't know about "painful" ..But we did miss you at this years Carlise. We kinda made up for it by drinking a few more beers...

Yup, I left early too on Saturday due to the heat - missed out on our filet mignon dinner at the Vetteheads.com site (and the storm).

we left at 10am on Saturday because of the heat....I would have liked to walk some more, but it was just too crazy hot. The day before after we walked around for 4 hours, Sharon looked at my eyes and they were all blood shot....I think the heat was just unbearable. I wish they would move it back 2 or 3 weeks, then there would be a shot to get out of the heat......just my 2 cents
