I borrowed my friends dig cam. Just thought I'd post a few pic's. Didn't take any under the hood. I just put a Demon 850 on and A/C wires everywhere. I still need to take measurements and buy a K/N. I had a local paint and body guy glass a L-88 scoop on my stock hood so it's tough to get an exact on the Airfilter size. He was nice enough to paint it flat white for me. I plan to paint the entire car pearl white.

So far:
402 bb (bb springs, motor mounts ect.)
Heidiman headers
Demon 850 double pump
700r4 Bow-tie

Plan to:
rear end 3:70
of course paint
17 in chrome ralleyz
Flex fan complements of Heidi

Last one.

If anyone is interested I'll post a pic of a one and only R-4 compresser bracket... Had to get that custom made with the bb conversion..
Merry X-Mas to all

nice vette! White is the best color for a C3 IMHO.

Very nice looking Vette! You deserve to be proud.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Haven't named it yet...

Welcome to the L-88 hood club, nice looking Vette! Have you driven much with the new hood? I've had mine for 3 years now and still love looking at it while I'm driving.

Scott,
Love the Hood. I was so happy to see how well it turned out.(Suprised to see how much clearance I've obtained) It looks just like one outta the catalog. The only problem that I have is from time to time I can't see over the right side. I has caused me to scrape my tires. I get alot of compliments. I makes the vet look mean. I have the big block with headers straight back to flowmasters.
So it sounds mean too....

crebo, nice Vette! Really beautiful. You say it's a 402ci? What kind of engine is that? I've never heard of a C3 block with that volume number.

That's a *seriously* stroked 'n poked small block. All the grunt without any of the weight.

Beware of a phat mouse, it'll kick ya hard in the jimmy before you know what hit you.

CYa!

But is it a stock engine for a C3? Or did he put it in there? What are the specs on it (hp, torque, etc.)? It doens't seem to be listed.

Thanks! :D

wow... beautiful car. I love the first pic especially, it looks so aggressive.

77 Vette Memory

Crebo,

Terrific pictures of your new ride. It brought back memories of my 77 Vette ( black with saddle interior L82 - 4 speed, gymkhana suspension). I had a lot of fun in that car. Drove it cross country twice.

Well keep working on your 77 it looks great now and should be awsome when you put the finishing touches on it.

Regards - Remo

P.S. I don't know what your MOS is - but thanks for serving in our Armed Forces.

Thanks Guys and Gals for all of your responses. It's really nice to have such a corvette cool community.

Remo,
Thanks!! I'm a tanker in the Army. Just finished recruiting a few years ago. This year or maybe next I'll try out for the all Army Golf team. Hopefully I'll qualify.

Stallion and Mako,
Sorry if I confused you in anyway. I have a Big Block 396(Camaro) that is bored over.30 Why they call it a 402 I'm not to sure. At one time some of the 396's came bored and that is what they called it. Now the small block 400. When it is bored and stroked I think they call it a 406. I maybe wrong about all the #'s but I'm sure that I have a Big Block.

Hopefully I can get a few respones to this. When I get the car painted should I leave the luggage rack. If I don't leave it I'll leave the holes for later use. I'm just having mixed feelings about it. I'm not to worried about keeping it in stock form.

Thanks again everyone
