Ok does anyone have any pics of a Holley 4150 or the likes installed. Mines totally fu**ed up. See if you can follow my description along w/ this picture:

This is almost what I see from the driverside front tire except that the metering blocks are apparently switched! Now as i understand it from the Holley tech support guy told me is that the metering block is what the float bowls attch to. So they are the half inch of metal that you see that have the screws in them that stick out if you are looking from the side, right? Please excuse my ignorance, i bought this thing to have fun w/ and learn cars not becuase Iknow cars. I think the reason the Holley 4150 book made no sense to me is because they didnt have any good pictures that I could understand the vantage point from because Im all backwards.

So as I was told, I need to switch the metering blocks. He had asked me if I had it on backwards and i said no the chokes in the front. So before i get covered w/ gas and so that I only get covered w/ it once: How exactly should they go? The 2 thin screws that stick out are the idle adjustment screws right? And they go onthe front correct? The passenger side metering block should have an idle screw on the bottom and a vacuum valve on the top thats for the distributor right? Please help me out

Fletch, I'm running a Holley 4150 List 4777 double pumper- 650 cfm. The picture you have is correct. On mine, it has idle mixture screws on the front metering block only. Yes, the dist vacuum canister hooks up to the ported vacuum source which is on the passenger side of the front metering block just above the idle mixture screw. What is the list number of your carb (located on the air horn)? Charles

I have a 4150 too, list 4777.

Does this pic help? I can take some more tomorrow (Sat) if you need.

Right I have a 4777. Well I hope these things arent to hard to swap around. Luckily my buddy got the reusable gaskets on them which I have reused a few times having to set the float level and still hold a decent seal. Thats how I learned computers which is how I get paid now. Takem apart and putm back together.

My buddy had it on a 400 Pontiac Trans Am and never had a problem he said. He just threw it on and went.
