Plastic parts

As all know must of all our cars are made of plastics. I found an interesting site, which spells out how to repair must parts.

Has anyone had any luck doing plastic repairs? I am especially interested with repairing interior parts, since new ones are so expensive.

I tried the stuff from Eastwood Company, but I wasn't really satisfied with the results, although it was probably more my fault than the product. If anything can get screwed up, I can do it. :L
