Well today I went out to get some gas, I had let the tanks get down a bit below 1/4 tank. Anyways, drop in about 10 or so, go about 4 miles, park for about 15 minutes, get back in, go about 4 miles and BANG..The Nightmare begins...lol

The "Check Engine" light comes on, then the displays shows "Low Oil Pressure", the guage looks fine though. The car starts driving sluggish, and hesistating bad.

I pull into a parking lot, call a friend and get a flatbed on the way. Meanwhile I check the engine oil and it's fine. I had just had it changed about 3 weeks ago.

Well after about 15 minutes, I fire it up and no problems. I drive around the parking lot and it seems alright. The "Check Engine" light went off and things were back to normal.

What would cause this? Any ideas? I was thinking maybe something got into the fuel filter cause I let the tank get under 1/4. Any help would be appreciated..lol..Heck the Vette saved me $45.00 by making it back to the house, so I'm already impressed..lol...If I gotta break down I dont mind having it happen at home....lol

Thanks for reading this thesis..lol..yall have a good day!

: )

Oops almost forgot info. 97, Coupe, Automatic, 75,000 miles. Thanks

Funny thing, no codes came out, everythings fine. I did change the fuel filter yesterday, heck of an item to get to, but I got it..lol.

The gas in it was brown and there was some grit in it. I think maybe because I filled up with bad gas, it seemed to have a watered down smell to it.

Anyways I went back to the service station, got my money back for the gas and mad ethem pay the $14.99 for the new filter, I even brought the gas I collected back with me.

Needless to say I wont be going bacck to that gas station. Shes running fine now, idle is seriously smooth, in fact it's noticeable smoother then it was previously.

I'll keep ya posted fo rthe nex week or so. Thanks for the timely response!

Well hell, I spoke too soon. It died on me again this morning, same sluggishness out of nowhere. This time with codes even. Codes are as followed.

P0521 Not sure (Probably Means Bend Over)....lol
P0522 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P1635 5 Volt Reference #1 Circuit
B0432 Rear Defogger Relay Circuit
C2110 Right Rear TPM Sensor Malfunction

I knew the right rear tire monitor was malfunction, no biggie,. The rest is new to me.

Well it's sitting at the Dealearship getting a $160 diagnostic checkup, now after the $160 is paid, some geneius will tell me..."Theres something wrong with it"..lol..Gotta have humor in all this. Well though I am almost broke, I managed to scrape together enough coin for a few condoms, a tube of KY, ropes, a gag, and a shovel for the deep hole...since I'm about to be raped, I figure least I can do is bring the party favors...rofl

But if ya can think of anything that might ease the pain..rofl..let me know. I am going to listen to what they tell me is wrong, if its something I can buy and do here then thats what I'll do. Thanks again!

well the dealer said that the problem is somewher ein the computer. He says theres a bad sensor someplace and that sometimes battery acid can leak down on a sensor. Battery looks fine to me though.

Good news is I know it's not a oil pump, fuel pump, or major damage. He says its running fine for them now, but their getting codes relating to codes. He says it could be as simple as a bad wire or bad ground.

Well needless to say I wont know anything else until monday, which sucks big time, but what the heck, could be a lot worst. Pray that its something simple.

Regardless of the outsome I will be sure to let you all know whats going on. I'm ****ed, but my degree of ****tivity is only overshadowed byt the many good points, I didnt crash, My baby aint scratched, and eventually I'll get her back.
