When I park at an angle in my garage, it looks like my Vette is higher on the right side. I thought it was an optical illusion, but the ground clearance on the passenger side is greater than the driver's side.

I took these dimensions from the top of my tire to the bottom of the outside edge of the wheel well on each side:

4.5" Passenger's side
3.75" Driver's side

I would like to staighten this out. Any suggestions? What kind of clearances do you have and how do you go about evening it up? I only have minor mechanical experience, but I'm ready to make a go at it if I have good enough instructions.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi
If that's your only problem, consider yourself lucky!

Sounds to me that it has to be something with the suspension!
Did you hit an extra large pothole??

Check your shocks and is the measurement both front and rear or is it the median measurement?

Those measurements are rear only. The front is only 1/8" off between the driver's and passenger's side.

I bought the car in December. I think it came that way.

It's from the Body Flex!!!

I pulled the car out today and it looked straight so I measured it and it's perfect. The difference is it has the top on this time. When I took it off to condition the weatherstripping, (today's job plus cleaning/conditioning the leather), the lean was back. This flex is ridiculous. I'm thinking about leaving the top on until I can get the insert to keep it stiff. This can't be good for the car!

I am interested in getting the bars for the top. Does anyone have a suggestion for what looks good for the money?

Thanks,
Chetzki
