last year i ordered a set of plugs and wires for my car.... maybe i goofed up maybe the place i got them from did i dont remember but the set of wires they sent me isnt a set of 8 wires but a set of 4 really long wires that you have to cut and put the opposite ends on....well me being me what i did instead of sending them back i just quick ordered the other set with intentions of returning these.... which i never did.... so now im figuring im gonna tune my 84 now that the cooler weather has arrived so i might as well break out this little science project and do it..... it looks and sounds easy enough i guess.... the instructions sure make it look like a monkey can do it... ya pull one wire off.... cut the other to length , cut the end of the wire, put the boot on the end and put the new wire in place and continue to step 2 ......but im no monkey..... does anyone actually do this or am i the only sucker ho is gonna try it and end up with my car runing on 4 cylinders :eyerole....im still tossed up on whether i should just order another set like i did last year and put these back in the tool cabinet like i did before or save myself a few bucks and just do it...

What brand are they? Does the kit include the stripping/crimping tool?

I've built many sets of the MSD "Heli-Core" wires; their "universal" kit includes the stripping/crimping tool.
