Hey all--
I have been looking around, and I might decide to sell the Performance Plus System from Vette Brakes that is currently waiting to go on the car and take another direction. Is there any interest in it here? The kit is brand new, never been used. I would need to get $1700 or so out of it, and I would prefer not to ship it, but that can be talked about later. Thanks for looking!

Last Ride, I just might be interested! I need to compare the components of the VB setup to the one VAN STEEL makes, that I have been looking at. I'm just outside Terre Haute, IN. It,s only about a 3-1/2 hour drive to Springfield for me. Made the trip every year that Bloomington Gold was there. Beautiful City.

I didn't know anyone else made anything similar to the Vette Brakes setup!?! Anyway, I have yet to completely decide what I am doing with this car, but you will be first in line for the Performance Plus System. Sure you don't need a power rack and pinion setup as well ;-) if you go to www.vettebrakes.com and shop online, the system is on page 9.

Bryan, go to www.vansteel.com and take a look. I talked to both at Bloomington Gold this year, and got to look at their merchandise first hand. Both make and sell excellent quality parts and seem to be great to deal with. As a matter of fact, the folks at Van Steel told me that they and VB are just down the road from each other, that the two of them send business to each other, and were very complimentary of VB. No rush on the suspension parts. I haven't even got the body off the car yet. It will be sometime this winter before I'll be ready to put a suspension under the new frame. Just keep me in mind if you do decide to sell.
As for the rack and pinion, should you decide to sell, we'll have to talk.........

They look like the same product! The only difference is that the Vette Brakes system comes with even more goodies such as tubular A-arms, etc. I have no doubts about this system, I am just thinking of grafting a C4 or maybe even a C5 suspension to my car. I would need to sell this stuff before I do any of that. Good luck on your project, either way!

Similarity between the two is amazing, isn't it.;) Van Steel has another system that's not shown that has the tubular A-arms. Just keep me in mind when you decide what your gonna do. I'm in no hurry.

Jerry--
Are you still interested in the setup I have for sale? If not, no worries, but I need to make some space in my garage for a new motor.
