Steve had trouble posting this up so he asked me to do it for him.
i'll let him comment himself on the picture;

NICE car Steve! :)

As some of you know, I have owned the car since 1977. I put over 100,000 miles on it before taking off the road in 1984. In the mean time, life happened. I have the original small block and small block parts but, now sports a 66 427, 60 over, etc., turbo 400 that snaps your neck and breaks the tires loose going into 2nd gear. Basically everything was gone over. I plan to drive it not just look at it.

Thanks for posting Barry. I will have to work on that picture posting thing. I'll do some experimenting - you got the picture up fast. Thanks for the compliment on the car - a 22 year work in progress finally complete.

Nice car!:D Did you mod the differential with all that HP & Torque now?

GTR1999 - I rebuilt the entire rear along the lines of the factory big block set-up with some improvements with the Vette Brakes single leaf rear spring, sway bar and adjustable shocks. It handles the torque and HP fine - just not enough tire with the Pirelli P4000.

John - Thanks for the compliments. Yea - I love the 'nostalgia' look of the Cragars.

The gas gauge is not working properly (so I found out) and I ran out of gas Tuesday. Got plenty offers for help.

no problem posting the pic for you!

oh wait, in payment I want to take that car for a drive! :)
I've actually never had the chance to drive a BB car before, I only have my wussy little 327 in mine.

Barry - once I get the alignment done, bring on your driving gloves. You see, if something happens to mine, I get to drive yours - not the 78 either.

;LOL

I don't think you'd like mine Steve - it's not a BB. For you it would be like driving a Yugo

Great looking car! My favorite color and Cragars to boot!

Brings back memories of days long ago..sniff...wear it in good health.:beer

Barry - I doubt it. Remember I drove it for 100,000 when it was a 350 hp 327. It could get up and go then too.

Freaken Sweet ... I always wanted that blue ...but I'm stuck with Resale red...

Looks excellant ..I posted the date Our SmithVile show in the other thread ..

Steve - It is really great to finally see it and well worth the wait. It looks beautiful. I love that color and the cragars.

Yeah! What he said! :blue:

Barry, don't sell that small block short. You're having just as much fun as the big block guys!

Terry
I do love my car, you know that but more power, such as BB power would always be great. I'd especially enjoy the greater torque of the BB's.

in either case BABY was a dream come true for me so I'm not really complaining in the slightest, just wishing for more as most of us do :)
