I put a fresh coat of Zaino on my '95 Coupe and headed for the Charleston SC area to visit my kids/g'kids this past weekend. Its about a four hour trip each way, and she performaned flawlessly.

While we were there, out shopping with my SIL for some stuff, we had a torrential thunder and rain storm. No leaks, no problems.

But the real star of the day was my fairly new Kumho ASX's. I had decided when I got 'em to go all weather "just in case", as I knew the handling would be sufficient for my (cruising) needs.

Well, they performed very well! No slipping, great braking. I was very confident driving on them - as confident as you can be with the rain and thunder around.

BTW, my SIL and I waited over an hour for the rain to stop, and when it didn't we just decided to go for it.

I think all weather tires are a really good choice for most cars and drivers, especially, like me, if your Corvette is your only car or you don't suffer from trailer queen syndrome. These tires used to be much less satisfactory in dry weather than regular tires, but those days are long gone. Kumhos are really comming on strong, too, although I think they should have priced themselves a bit more aggressively to really get a good foothold in the market.

I too purchased kuhmo tires for my '96. I am quite impressed with them especially when you factor in their price.

Humho as well here! price was there as well as quality. Good to know I got a respectable tire.
