Power brake booster vacuum feed grommet - where can I get one?

The grommet that allows the source of vaccuum to enter the brake booster just broke (old and dry) and now I need a replacement for it. Anybody have any idea where I can find this grommet for replacement?

All the vendors (Doc Rebuild, Paragon, Corvette Central, Zip, etc.) sell that grommet along with the check valve as a kit for about ten bucks; give them a call and see if they'll sell you just the grommet, or buy the kit.

Help! at Checker

If the check valve is fine, you can get the grommet at Checker/Schuck's/Kragen at one of the little red 'Help" displays. About 2 bucks. I think you can get the valve and grommet for about $5 at the same place.

Rick, thanks for the referral. But I've been looking at that site for at least 30 minutes straight and I cannot find the grommet. Can you link me to it if it's not too much trouble? Thanks, bud.

Gosh, I didn't know Checker/etc. had a web site with their parts. I was just thinking you might have one nearby you could pop into. They're all over the place, here.

Certainly NAPA, maybe Pep Boys, etc. will have it as well. I just thought you could do a little better than $10 from Zip's. A phone call would likely have you on the phone forever with someone that wouldn't "get" it-but maybe not.

Sorry I'm not more helpful. Heck, I just started getting the "smiley's"!
