Interested in converting the brakes on my '67 327/300 Convertible to power brakes. Will there be a substancial difference in braking effort? Does anyone know of a shop that does the conversion ?( I remember one in Virginia)

You and I have exactly the same car :w . Mine has manual brakes too, and I'm leaving it that way; the only time I notice the difference is immediately after driving one of my regular cars with power brakes.

Power brakes on a '67 uses the same master cylinder, but by the time you buy the booster, brackets, stop light switch bracket, front system line to the frame block, and make up a proper adapter pipe with flare fittings and unions from the rear port on the distribution block to the rear system line, you'll have about $450 in parts alone, plus labor.

Thanks. I'll probably do the same. Have you ever driven a mid-year w/ power brakes?

Yes, and they require somewhat less pedal effort, but I didn't think there was enough difference to justify the hassle and expense of converting mine.
