power door lock

The passenger door doesn't lock using the power lock switch.
It unlocks alright and locks and unlocks manually.
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if you
did what was the cure.

Len,
C4C5Specialist can speak from more experience than I, but it has been my observation in the past that when the sort of issue you describe was diagnosed, it turned out to be a Power Lock Actuator that had malfunctioned.

If this is the case, you should get an indication of it if you Pull Codes on your vehicle. Try doing that from the link and see if it gives you a code pointing to the actuator.

I was thinking the same thing, the power lock actuator, so I pulled
the door panel to see how much trouble it is to change.
I could hardly see it.
Has anyone ever changed one and is there any unexpected problems I can look forward to?

Did you pull the codes? I think you (and Paul, c4c5specialist) can nail down the problem before you start changing out parts. It seems to me that there is often an issue where the wiring harness goes into the door. A short there will not be fixed by changing out an expensive actuator. Just my $0.02.

I had some free time so I desided to do a search and see
if I could find some information about my door problem.
It seems I am not the only one with this problem, I guess
I shouldn't be surprised. If anyone else has this problem
