Does anyone know if all the parts are the same for a power steering conversion in a small block vs a big block. The only difference I see is the hoses and the mount brackets. Also a listing of all the parts needed to convert would be helpful If anyone knows them and has time to post the information. I would like to start picking up the parts as I see them.

Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry,

The bb has different brackets on the power steering pump. Other than that, it is all pretty much the same.

If you have the extra cash to speed, check out the

www.steeroids.com rack system.

I just installed one on my buddies 71 convertible (small block). It works and looks great! His car did not have power steering either, and I had to hunt down brackets for the pump, and just bought a rebuilt pump from Napa, and ordered a new pulley from Paragon.
