Power Steering Question

I just purchased a March system (complete w/power steering pump, water pump, etc). The pump they sent with their system is a GM Type-2 pump (like that off an 84' vette); however, my vette is an 81' with OME power steering valve and cylinder. It there going to be a miss match in pressure? Will this pump provide enough or too much fluid? Will steering operate properly? The other problem I have is trying to obtain a pressure hose? Apparently, March does not sell a power steering hose kit for their system to match an 81' vette.

Any help would greatly appreciated.
