First, I don't have a code reader. But, my problem seems logical (I think). Stopped at the store the other night with the top down and the girl friend in the car. While standing in line, she came in and said " go put the top up it is starting to pour!" I went out, put the top up, turned the key to acc to put the windows up and OUCH! the passenger window would not go up. Tried both driver and passenger switches.. nothing. Pulled the car over underneath the overhang for the gas pumps and tried to figure out what happened. Finally, with the passenger door open, the window went up using the pass door switch. Later, I tried again and the window will not operate with either driver or pass switch, nor the auto feature when the top storage compartment lid is popped. Seems logical to me the common thing is the window motor in the door. I don't think there is anything wrong with the motor, as the one time it did work it function perfectly and just as fast as normal.. I would think it is only a loose connnection at the motor in the door. What else might it be before I take the door panel off?
