The passenger window has been giving me trouble for some time now. It goes up and down with ease and no problem with the power unit or drive mechanism. My problem is with the window and how its attached to the rack it rides on for operation.
If the window is halfway up or down , you can grab the glass and slide it forward and backwards. As though not for the car being their, you could slide the glass right out the end.
I have to be sure it is in the right spot when going up and being lined up just right. It has gone to the point of trashing my window tint.
So I have taken the glass out ...i removed only 2 sash nuts and thats it.It slid right up and out from there.
So im not sure why it was so sloppy in the track.I have posted pics of the glass to see.The 2 large dark areas are the bolts are where the nuts hold the glass to the rack...there are 3 empty holes in the glass and i have no idea what they are for...If i understood the book right, the sash nuts are more for adjustment of the glass.
Maybe something fell off inside the door, I dont want to use the driver side window as refrence unless i really need to.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
Thank's, Chas
