I just bought a new to me 2004 C5. When I was checking it over before the purchase I noticed that the passenger power window did not work so I insisted that the seller have it fixed. It turned out to be the electric motor for the window and after testing it to make sure it worked I closed the deal. I noticed later though that there is some wind noise from that window and after comparing both windows it appears that the passenger window is lower than the driver window when they are both all the way down and the passenger window seems to be a bit lower than the driver window when they are both all the way up so it appears it doesn't contact the rubber molding where it should hence causing the wind noise. Is it possible that when the motor was installed that the window wasn't lined up in track correctly?
