power window

Hello. first time vette owner. I have an 84. My problem is with the power windows. driver side very slow going up. how hard is it to remove for inspection. I`m sure this can be found in the archives .but don`t know where. help..

The window Regs in the early cars are junk,best thing to do is replace it with the latter window Reg.
