I'm begining to feel like I live in this forum.

Anyone have any experience troubleshooting a problem with an inoperative passenger power window in a 94 Coupe? I have the GM Service Manuals
Book 1 & 2.
I was using the troubleshooting procedure on page 8A-120-4 in Book 2 and looking at the diagram on Page 8A-120-0 of Book 2.
I could use some help. I am not sure i understand what I am reading and am begining to wonder if part of the troubleshooting procedure either omitted something or I am missing the obvious.

Any help would be appreciated. Tnx, Sam

frustration

Love answering my own post.

Okay, after days of frustration I decided to ignore the troubleshooting flow chart and go straight to the wires going to the RH window motor. I found them to both have 12volts as advertized and no matter which control LH or RH I pushed the voltage on the wire coresponding to to the direction I pushed switch the voltage went to ground as advertized.

This led me to believe that I had a bad motor. Great! Being reluctant to attempt the removal of the motor/regulator assembly still frustrated I grabbed the regulator assy wherever I could get a hold of it and shook it for all it was worth, slammed the door and went in to take a shower.

On driving down the road later, for some unknown reason tried the drivers switch for the RH window and guess what. It worked.
Expletive Deleted, Yeehaw!

I can only guess that the motor must have just jammed or maybe it's a lack of lubricant issue. I just don't know and frankly don't care at this point.

Call it the "get a bigger hammer method".
