Preping Interior

I know someone had an article about how to prepare your interior vinyl to dye and paint to a new color last year ....
Does anyone know where I can find that information ?

I just dyed my 82's dark blue was originally tan, I used I think a scotch pad you can find them at any paint store and scrubbed with this and soap and water and rinsed with regular water and air dryed, I did the dash, door panels and some other plastic parts all came out very nice
