I'm looking at two Corvette coupes, a 2003 and a 2004. Here are the details:
2003 - 23,000 mi. - $34,000 manual trans.
2004 - 21,000 mi. - $32,500 automatic trans.

Both are in excellent condition - no body work/damage in history.

I really want the manual transmission. Is there a reason why the older car (2003) with higher mileage would be worth more money?

Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide.

The 6 speed ia an expensive option for the c5 stock was a auto. The 6 speed is a sought after vette.

Is the $34,000 fair for a 2003 with that mileage?

Does the "anniversary edition" have any impact on value?

Greg, is either one of these coupes a Z06? That could be a factor here, too- the LS-6 engine is more powerful than the LS-1 that came in the coupe and convertible.

Also, I agree with AvaCorvette: the M6 transmission is far more popular than the A4.

One more option...

Neither is a Z06. Let me add another vehicle to the list.

The list is now:
2003 - 23,000 mi. - $34,000 manual trans.
2003 - 7,700 mi. - $36,000 manual trans.
2004 - 21,000 mi. - $32,500 automatic trans.

Are these all reasonable prices?
Should I pay the extra $2K for 1/3 of the mileage?
