problem with stumble on WOT

I have started to notice the Vette stumbling when I take off but only at WOT and only sometimes (aprox 1 out of 5 take off's):confused

It doesn't seem like fuel moving around in the tank because it only happens off the line.
(When I punch it off the line the car seems to want to stall but a second later it comes back at full power.)

I would say a bad throttle response issue. However you said it isn't all the time. This one I think is wide open to theories.

Pay attention to how much fuel you have in the tank with respects to when you get the stumble. You seem to have written off fuel starvation as the cause......................but that's what I'm bettin' on

Usually when I have a fuel starvation problem the car will take off like a bat out of hell, then fall on it's face, then recover. This problem as explained sounds like a hesitation problem.
