Project 59 progress

Yesterday, I got my new bulletproof aluminum driveshaft from Denny's and spent a couple of hours at the buffing stand putting a mirror finish on it.
Today I dropped the body back on the chassis for about the 5th time to check the clearance on my new engine drive accssories. I will need to shorten the adjuster on the A/C compressor a little, but all else looks good. It is now time to start on the body in ernest, and hopefully, this will be the last time the body will have to go back on the chassis until it is wearing it's new paint! Just finished spraying a couple of coats of Glisten clearcoat on the driveshaft and it should be ready to install tomorrow. Another week goes by with my headers still not being shipped. If my headers are not in transit by Monday, I am going to cancel the order and find another source!

Being a hot rodder with a love of new and old technology and having had 4 solid axle cars in my past, I have been eagerly following your progress.

Just looking at your pics makes me want to build something

Now I know why I hadn't seen your other pics, when I click to zoom on the pics on your host site, I can see them then when I click on them to make them bigger they come up as red X's.

I am not sure why that is happening. I have not had any other people say that they are having that problem. Try later and see if you have the same problem, and I will send you the pics if you can't zoom on them.

I have the same problem. The thumbnails appear okay but when trying to enlarge I just get a red "X". Have no idea why.
