This week my bonding adhesive came in, so I got the quarters and the tail light panel bonded on. Semershiem's quarters fit very well with only a minimum of triming and grinding to make them fit well. The tail light panel fit well, but was trimmed pretty short. When every thing was pulled into the proper position to make the lower valance fit well, the taillight panel still had 1/2" of gap at each side on top of the bonding strip. It still bonded down well, but I had to fill a pretty wide gap on each side after bonding it on. The rear deck had a previous repair, and I had to grind it back out and repair it properly. The prevoius repair had much filler in it and little glass. It now is all glass with just a skim coat of filler, and should last very well without cracking. I hope the front clip comes in in the next couple of weeks, since I am just about to a standstill until it arrives. I have much chassis work to do, and hopefully I will get the windshield frame welded back in place this week.
