This is one of the Chevrolet Turbo Project / Development cars from the mid - 80's

Anyone have more on these cars??? :confused

Chris: That car was in one of magazines in middle 80's with some road testing and general specs! I think it might have been Car & Driver but not positive! I always remembered car 1st because of Turbo's and secondly because you almost never seen these cars in blue without two-tone colors Which I'm not crazy about. I see if I can locate magazine? Ike

Well close.otfl Feb 86 Road & Track This car ran TRC at 200MPH with professional driver! I now remember why I had magazine. Cover was 1986 Vette vs 1968 L-88! It was obvious times were a changing just like today!! :cool

Ike, Ohh my! That IS the issue :cool I'll have to check my archives, as it has been at least 1987 or 88 since I saw it last...

I think there was also mention of the car in the old Motor Trend with the Porsche 959 tests - another SUPER Twin Turbo car hnoes

Yes, many of GM's test mules / projects had high mounted turbos, this was one of them :cool
