Can somebody please tell me if there should be oil squirting out of the top of the push rods on my L-48. I am trying to adjust the rockers and there is oil squirting out the top. Serious clicking noise aswell.(rockers) I tightened down the rockers just to the point where the clicking goes away but now no oil coming out of the rods???????. Can somebody clarify as to what it should be doing.:)

Scott,
Yes the pushrods supply oil to lubricate the rocker arms. With the rocker arms adjusted there should still be oil seeping thru the hole in the rocker arm.
With the engine running, tighten the rocker arm until the ticking stops. Then SLOWLY tighten 1/2 to 3/4 turn more. The engine will stumble while you are are tightening but should recover after a few seconds.
