Quarterpanel Markers

While detailing my car the other day (a '97), I noticed that the stamp on both right and left parking lights (located behind the back tires on each side of the car) are stamped "EXPORT". My C5 is a very low number, pre-production car built on October 1, 1996. Does anyone else with a 1997 have the word "export" on their quarterpanel markers?

Also, instead of the traditional black brake calipers with the silver "CORVETTE" wording emblazed across it, my calipers are gray and have always been. Anyone else with gray calipers with silver lettering?

I had '97 #1101 and it had grey calipers with light colored lettering. I cannot check the side markers, as I sold the car.

my 99' had gray with silver lettering before i painted the red and polished the letters.:cool

The gray calipers threw me off, since the 1997 sales catalog shows black calipers in all of the pictures.

I'll have to keep my eyes open at Carlisle this year and check the side marker lenses on other C5's to see what other markings I can find. Thanks for the replies!

My '97 has grey calipers, dont know about the 1/4 markings I am too lazy to get up and go look....
