Assuming a nice day and a long journey, at what speed do you prefer to have the roof on because of wind noise and/or buffeting? Just curious. :bu

Not many replys yet huh????

Took NCM delivery Dec 17 2004, drove it back and have 735 miles. Still to cold in Indiana for the top off. Cant wait for Spring to try it out. They say it has less buffeting than c5s. I always felt c4s were to turbulent so bought a c5 roadster. That seemed to cure the prob......

Above 55 or so it gets a bit noisy and the seatbelts starts to flop around.

Removable top

For what it's worth, if GM made the C6 coupe with a fixed top , I still would have bought it. The only thing nice about the removable is that I can use my lexan top in winter and part of spring and fall. To run with no top ,UGH!! too windy and noisy. I guess I'm just cut out for the new ZO6. Now to convince the BOSS!!

latch the unused seat belt.

Don't have a C6 (yet) but in my C5 I reserve the "top off" runs to crusin' speeds around town and back roads. For long trips and freeway speeds I prefer having the top on. On the C5 there is an aftermarket doheekey that let's you leave the hatchback open approximately 1-1/2 inches which cuts down on the buffeting (does not eliminate it altogether); don't know if this is available for the C6 yet. I also remove the rear sun shade to cut down on the flopping around sounds and latch the passenger seat belt if I'm by myself.
