I noticed that too. But, if the VIN, instrument panel and gas cap are correct, it's a 64 with a 63 hood.
 
That car phone glued to the console looks pretty new- must be a '64. THink bag phones were used until late '63.

The VIN number starts with a 4, so by its VIN its a 1964. If you look close at the hood, the hood is a 63, as the cookie sheets are flush with the end of the indentations. they don't go over. So he must of like the look of the 63 Cookie Sheets...and the hood, unless it had body damage at one time and was replaced with a 63 hood and the cookie sheets came with it???
