What's behind the fiberglass in the center cargo area in the coupe and is it safe to drill to brackets to add a aftermarket CD changer.

If you're talking about the rear bulkhead in the very rear, I think it's the steel cross member between the frame rails. It will stop the drill unless you decide to continue drilling into it. It's tough, so to make a hole in it, you would have to be very deliberate about drilling. So if you're wondering if you will hurt anything, I think you will be OK.hot4u said:What's behind the fiberglass in the center cargo area in the coupe and is it safe to drill to brackets to add a aftermarket CD changer.

When I installed my GM Cd changer, I mounted it per the instructions, which is the same as the factory installation.
