Question: What happens when shielded secondary touches coil primary?

Answer:

I forgot to put back the rubber caps I made for the coil primary studs. Had to run to NAPA for more pink wire. The line now has a fuse in it too.

yeah, the only thing worse than the smell of burning wire is the smell of burning hair / flesh, especially when its your own.
