1. Does ALL of the oil flow thru these ports if they are used for a cooler?

2. Which is better to use for a cooler : These ports or a sandwich filter adapter where the current oil filter is , and why ?

3. Are you using these Block oil ports currently ?

Thanks much,

Dave,

My 1995 454 Chevy truck uses the taps on the lower side rail for the oil pressure switch, and is uses the adapter on the oil filter location.

Seems to work very well, as my oil temps stay low even under heavy hauling.

My 90 Vette uses the adapter on the filter, but it is a oil to water, not air style cooler.

I think either would work fine. You can't just tap off the rail only as it would not create a proper flow pattern.
