Quick Time Electric Cutout

I’m planning on ordering the Quick Time Electric Cutout today. Is the stock exhaust on a 97 C5 2 1/2 Inches? Also I called the company and they said that the QTEC50 Dual Quick Time Electric Cutout would work but I need to do some cutting and welding but it should not be a big deal. Has anyone installed these before and are you happy with the product? Also if you have any pics of the install it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..
