2003 50th Annversary Red coupe, beautiful !
I need some help with the two side pieces of the front air dam. I need to replace the two pieces and the fasteners, But so far I can't even find anyone who even knows a thing about this part. Which baffles me? The two pieces are part numbers 10419312, and 10419313 and if I can trust the single soul who ventured a glimmer of hope the two part # of the fasteners is 10437991 which I think is the screw 3mm and 115169 is the uclip, or whatever the upper fastener. But the two last numbers I not so sure of. Can anybody help me figure out what holds these two air dam pieces onto the car ? :confused Thank you !

Air dam fix. . .

Thanks GMjunkie, I can always depend on you for the straight dope on a problem. Let me ask one more thing, Was it difficult for you to remove the old clips and install the new ones? When I look up at the four holes I can't see where the clips go? I know they fit in over one of the layers of body panels? thanks agine for your help, your the best !:thumb

Pep boys has bags with assorted clip sizes for 5 dollars. I just replaced both pieces myself. I ordered the two pieces wholesole through my autobody, they came in one day. Just get under the car and you can figure out what you need as soon as you look at it. As far as the fasteners and the screws, Pep boys, Auto Zone and the like , have everything you will need.

Did it rip the clips out of the fascia?? If so you may have to HillBilly engineer something!! :D
Post a photo if possible!!:thumb

No GMjumkie, the fasteners are just a little worn out. I replaced the two lower air dam pieces and now want to do some reinforcing work on the front corner, ( I bought two reinforment pieces fro Zip products made out of plastic) and their not going to reinforce anything. So I took the two plastic pieces from Zip to a local machine shop, and they are going to make the indentical item out of aluminum, so I decided to replace all the screws and retainers at the same time.

If you make everything too stiff there will be no give and the air dam will simply snap off. Let us know how it turned out.
