If you want to make sure, pull the water neck and t-stat. Make sure the block is 100% full. Lift the upper hose up, and fill it from the t-stat side until water runs out of the t-stat portion of the intake manifold. That should do it.

Maybe you are not getting hot enough to really build much pressure, so your hoses feel limp....yet you are currently full of water?

-yah, --boip that baby...

-yes, essentially like cool-Cris suggests, -but to avoid disturbing the thermostat-neck & gasket, -I would just initially loosen and free the hose at the radiator-inlet end (away from the thermostat-neck), warm-up the engine for 8-min. or so until the thermostat has opened at around 185*f ; -then with engine still running at about 1,500rpm, pull the hose from the radiator for a few seconds and observe for a healthy waterpump flow-rate (while at the same time thereby purging any entrapped air). Reattach hose, replace lost coolant, and see if has made any difference (as they say in Joisey, --a boip can't hoit!)... ~Bob vH
