Hello all,

I'm am refurbing a 78 Ann. and have run into a slight snag. I replaced the center console and instrument cluster but I need to find a newer radio bezel. It would be a shame to put it all together with all that new plastic and have the old black radio bezel in the middle of the dash. If new ones aren't available any suggestions to recondition the old one? I thought about paint but !?!?!?!?!?!

Are you sure its a different part. 1978 came with a knob type radio. today you can buy two types instrument clusters. One for knob or the more modern for "din". Din is a big rectangular hole and will take the modern day CD players.

try www.eklers.com

Eckler's has a precut bezal for $189.99..what I did was bought the deck I wanted & traced the removeable case onto my bezal and used a cutoff disk on my dremel to CAREFULLY cut the opening, the opening has to fit the cover very tight as thats what holds the deck in place.

Its for the 8 track original. There is a bezel around the radio face where the numbers for the AM/FM are. It comes through the Instrument cluster bezel.
