I've noticed that a couple of times I get what sounds like interference from the engine coming through the radio. It changes pitch with respect to the engine speed. Its only happened twice but its pretty annoying when it happens and it tends to happen on all stations not just one. Is this common and is there anything that can be done?

HI there,
Sounds like you may have a ground source that is loose, or not clean.
I would be more concerned with engine grounds at both sides of the block and the ground source at the antenna module.
These can cause radio noise.

i've experienced radio interference when my cell phone was too close to the radio. Not in my vette but an 02 acura TL. I don't know if you've changed your head unit and there's a frequency problem w/ your cell phone. good luck. HeavySevy
