Radio recommendations for 76 vette

The stock am/fm stereo radio in my 76 is about shot (buttons not working and am not working Fm sensitivity is very low) I would like to replace it with an aftermarket. I dont want to modify the bezel in the car. Can anyone recommend a decent aftermarket shaft radio that will fit. I have looked at the USA cassette which I know goes in with no problem but I wasnt to impressed with them.

I had the same problem. I left the original in place, put a Kenwood receiver/CD player and speakers in the back, made a rack for it, 2 speakers in the kick panels in front, sounds great. The Kenwood has a remote so changing stations, volume etc is easy.

I think I saw in their new catalog that they are now selling radios with the bezel included. You can now get radios with in-dash cd players, xm sat, etc..

I would recommend Custom Autosound as above. I still have the stock radio, but if I was to change out, I would go with CAS. They have vintage-looking pieces, and you don't need to cut the bezel. And, like boss did, you can throw a CD changer in the back and it's a pretty good deal.

Tom, my car is to loud to hear the radio. Right now all i have is an empty space in the dash & would like to fill the space with an old /not so good or non working radio so the dash doesnt look bare.
I dont need the convector or speakers. Let me know if you want to part with your old one when you replace it. Thanks !

That's a new one. Never heard of that before. You can't hear at all!? Wow, that's loud.
