I need four new rally rims for my 76. I have heard that OEM wheels made by Kelsey Hayes in Mexico have balance problems. Does anyone know if this is true or have experience with this?

What about Wheel Vintiques: are they good copies? I have heard that they make their own wheels in Fresno and are better quality. Any comments. Thanks again.

I have 4 Kelsey Hayes Ralleys on my car now. No balance or other problems at all. 2 are originals, 2 are Kelsey repros I I bought in 1998 or so.

I will sell them if I can decide on the rims I am looking at. They have original centers (Chevrolet) and Stainless rings, and I'm running yokohama Avid ST's in 255/60/15 size. The tires have about 3000 miles on them and are still like new. I am very pleased with the tires, in fact. I have about $900 in the full package, but I'd sell for much less.

I'm considering 17" wheels.

Even if you want to buy direct from KH, I would recommend them. They are just like the originals, or at least they were circa 1998.

Email me if interested. I will send pictures. Thanks.

Update - check the "for sale" section. I'm selling the above set for $600 Firm. Up close pics available showing full tread depth and mold flashing still on the tread.
