Rattle Behind the Passenger Airbag Area

I have rattle noise from behind the passenger airbag module. It happens at low RPMs, not at idle but typically when I am cruising at low speeds. My mechanic attempted to eliminate the noise but he had to give up after removing the a/c louvers in that section.

He told me he could not reach the bolts holding the passanger airbag module to tighten them... He went as far as removing the fuse panel but could not reach the bolts !!! He told me he would have to remove the entire dash for a good job; we did not do that yet since I do not have the courage to go that far - we may damage something else...

Any ideas???

I had a "rattle" behind the dash and it turned out to be the hood stop was out of adjustment and was loose at the latch.

My rattle is certainly coming from inside the dash... While rattling, I can press a finger on the passanger airbag and the noise stops. Take the finger off and rattle is back...
