Rattle on 6 Speed

I've owned my C4 for a few years now and recently there is a rattle that comes from the stock shift nob on my 6 speed. There seems to be a little play that causes the rattle. Does anyone know how I can tighten the nob to stop the rattle? Thanks in advance for your response!

I had the same problem w/ mine. Thankfully I live here in Phx and have the ZFDoc at my disposal. He immediately knew the cause, fixed it and I haven't had a rattle since. It was a simple fix but may require replacement of the plastic button (w/ the shifting diagram) on top. Contact Bill Boudreaux @ www.zfdoc.com and tell him what's going on and he may even have the part there if replacement is necessary.
