i got a leak in my dana rear end at the front pinion seal (i think its called). i know the rear Y-pipe has to come off, and drop the drive shaft too, which will give me time to change out the U-joints. but how tuff a job to change out the rearend seal?? i know theres a big nut thats got a good torque on it too.

no one has had this problem ? just wondering if i should try and tackle this or just have the job done some were?

Hopefully someone will let you know who has done it before. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult...if you had a lift or some way to get under there. Good luck!
