real knock off wheels&matching numbers?

How do I tell real original knock off wheels, from aftermarket knockoff wheels?

Also, I real alot of chat about matching numbers. Where do I find what the numbers should be? Where on the block they should be stamped for the car etc?

its a 65 roadster 350 hp.

I think the real knockoffs have a Kelsey Hayes logo and a number and the repros don't. Whatever that is, you can't see it from the front of the wheel when its on the car.

Also, I've heard that the real ones have tapered shiny aluminium splines and the repros have splines that are the same width from the trim cap to the rim.
