Rear Axle Rebound Strap

I just recently acquire a 59 and noticed while I had the rear driver side tire off that the Rebound Strap was broke (I think thats what it is - It is made out of a rope like material) Where can I get a reasonably priced replacement? Will it hurt to drive the car with this broke?

I have none on my 62. Not an issue, unless one was to do some heavy duty driving!
