Any one have a diagram for the rear body to frame mounts on a 81 ??

I am in the process of try to change the broken down bushings and to see what I will need and what is involved. I am also noticing some type of spacers or sothing between the bushing that are rusted out . Any ideas on what these are and where to locate replacements ?

When I get home, I can scan the page from my Assembly manual for you. Only thing, mine is a 1978, but the frame and body mounts should be the same. As for the shims between the body and frame, these were put in before the body was mounted to the frame to make sure the frame to body had a tight fit. without those, the body will flex on the frame and can cause problems later. You can get replacement shims from any of the aftermarket dealers such as VP&B. When you do pull the mounting bolts, make note of how many shims there are at each mount and replace them with the same number of shims. You may even be able to clean up your existing shims and reuse them.
