Rear Console power outlet

Can anyone help me out? When we purchased our 2000, the previous owner apparently removed the rear console 12v power outlet, to be able to route a cable for the aftermarket XM radio he installed. Since I no longer have the XM radio (it died), I decided to reinstall a new one.

By looking at an online breakdown, it shows two parts, the receptacle and the retainer. The local dealer had the receptacle in stock (part number 2577-4623), the other, the retainer needed to be ordered.

Does anyone know if there is a cover/cap for the outlet? When I put the receptacle in the hole in the console, it was too large an opening and it seems that it needs a collar or washer to make it fit. So, can anyone help me out and perhaps even include the part numbers and a better diagram or pic showing this?

All North American outlets are standard size thanks to SAE. The retainer will have a flange on it, so when you screw the retainer onto it, it will sandwich the plastic in the console between the two parts to hold it in place. I'm not sure if there is a cap on it or not.

Thanks for your post. Ironically, the parts warehouse phoned this morning and told me my parts had come in. The counter guy recalled me saying the outlet was missing completely, so when he went to order the part the other day, it turned out it was parts. There are actually 3 components necessary, the receptacle, the retainer, and the plastic trim collar with the cap. I picked the 2 parts up and it took all but 5 minutes to finish. Thanks again!
