I have a 1998 convertible. I have no power going to the rear power deck release motor. There is no power going to the 10 amp fuse in the fuse block. And no power going to the switch on the dash. Also it does not work with the remote. However; the other functions work with the remote. There is power going to the micro switch, mounted with the release motor, that prevents the deck from opening when the convertible top deck is open. I believe the shifter has to be in park for the rear deck to open. Question. Is there a switch located in the center console that would prevent power going to the fuse/dash switch? And/or is there a relay, module that controls the power? If you can help I would appreciate it.
